Board Client version 9.0.4 can connect to a server running Board Server 9.0.4 only, it is therefore required to update all Board Client and Office Add-in installations.
Capsules created or modified with version 9.0.4 cannot be re-opened with version 9.0.3 (or prior).
ROLAP: ROLAP Write-Back has been improved easing the Back-End mechanism on a wide range of target RDBMS. As consequence write-back to SAP-HANA is now fully supported.
Data Flow: Time Function are now applicable in the Data-Flow command if Info-cubes with 128 bit Sparsity are involved. It is still not supported with 128 bit Info-cubes Dense Structure.
Tilde Security: Any Updates on the Tilde Security Database of the Security Criteria, with Data Entry, Data-Reader or Data-Flow is now immediately applied.
Data Readers: A malfunction of datareader occurring when reading records containing null fields has been fixed.
Map Object: Overing the mouse over the Map Bubbles, Board highlights those measures that have been used to determine Radius and Color
Map Object: Map Object Default Zoom has been improved when a single item is selected.
Data View: The quick Search (Ctrl+F) is now available in the Drill Down Window
Selector: The usability of the Selector Object with the Show Active Members option disabled has been improved
Calendar: It is now possible to use in the same Screen a Calendar Object with a Selector using Time Dimensions.
Linked Data-Views in the Folder Object are now reacting during the scroll after the Screen is open. It is not necessary any more to click on each tab of the Folder.
Login: SAML Login now can count upon a 3 mins of tolerance between the Timing of the Board Server and Authentication Server.
Rules: Users with Power User License can now create and edit database Rules. Rules created by a Developer user can be viewed but not modified by Power Users.
Replicated Entity: some malfunction on automatic update of the replicated entity has been fixed, now replicated trees are always aligned to the original.
Procedures: The Launch Command (Server or Client side) now supports the use of @user in the command parameters
Button: It is now possible to include in the Button URL Property the Command Open SAP GUI (sapshcut.exe).

It is now possible to setup a Layout in the Dyna-write Object. This can be used to view the content of RTF BLOB cubes into a DynaWrite.
Procedures: The Clear Info-cube Command in combination with Use Current Selection Option is now working on BLOB info-cubes too.
DataView: A malfunction occurring on layouts with Expressions after a Data Entry has been fixed.
Broadcasting: A malfunction of the Broadcasting in Text Notification only mode, has been removed.
DataEntry: A malfunction regarding Data Entry on Tool-tip has been removed.
Charts: Screen which Selection causes and Empty Layout doesn't crash the Chart Object any more
License: In some cases, after service restart developer licenses were consumed with no valid reasons. This malfunction has been fixed.
Datareader: Datareader in Across mode reading decimal digits was not working with some regional settings, this has been fixed.
Client: Client crash cases when On Mouse Overing on the Cart Panel with no open Capsule in the workspace have been fixed
Office add-in: A Visualization Issue of the XLS Add-In Ribbon Bar when the Connection happens through the VB Command ShowConnectDialog has been solved.
Chart: Multiple Fixes for Chart Legend and Markers have been done
Pinboard: Drill Through from Pinboard reports is now supported.
Sliding Panel: Deny Select and Deny Layout are active even if the User access the Report from the Sliding Panel
Share screen: Share Screen files can be opened also from auto-updating clients.
Tree-Map: Alerts on Tree-Maps are now supported in Web Client.
Containers: The Matrix Container Object is now available for Web Client too.
Print: Different Exceptions while printing from a web client have been solved now.
Web Client: Deny Select and Deny Layout are active even if the User access the Report from the Web Client
License: Data Entry is now available for Users with Mobile Licenses
Design: The "Switch to Standard" Command is now available in the Capsule Toolbar Icon : it reverts a Mobile Capsule to a Board Client Capsule
Cluster:After running a clustering scenario for the second time, relationships were not updated immediately. This malfunction has been fixed.
Analytical Functions: Analytical Functions were shifting of one period in some cases, issue fixed.
Predictive Analytics: Forecast Algorithm detects short series (less than 24 periods) and Ultra Short series (less than 12 periods). On these kind of series the competition algorithm has been changed. and complex forecasting method discarded.
