> Extending backward the database , it empties the all the Infocubes time dimensioned.  Any data , already loaded, must be re-loaded from the scratch.

> Adding additional Time Entities doesn't not have any impact on the Application : Infocube granularity is unaltered (by month).

For a complete description of the database time range please refer to official documentation.

Entities and Infocubes

An entity is basically a collector of items : each item is identified through its code and description.

> Code Width : adapt it accordingly with your specs

> Desc Width : adapt it accordingly with your specs

> Max Item nr : adapt it accordingly with your specs

> Altering any of the properties above, empties the entity itself. Any data must be re-loaded from the scratch .

> Altering any of the properties above could cause issue in some ASCII data-reading at Fixed Length Width : we suggest to quickly assess them.

> Sort by and Display Options are by default parameters only . Altering them  has no impact on the Application. A different setting can be anyway defined at Report Layout level.

We do not suggest to change the database name: if you do, you have to re-link all the Capsules Screens to the new Database.

For a complete description of the database entities and relationship properties and settings please refer to next sections.
